+Toxic Reverend So was The Internet & Google - they were started by DARPA, don't forget that Technology is Natural - It depends on whos using it as to its intentions, However, don't forget The US Navy ,Army ect Need Secure Comms too
, I recommend using Advanced Tor ( Advor ) (TOR = The Onion Router)
as you can have much control - set the number of hops, set time to rotate or cycle the TOR IP addresses, control Whitelist & Blacklist of TOR IPs , countries
you can control endpoints, Middle or First Hops + so much more
.... thats if you use Windows , Use Firfox Browser with Foxy Proxy - Firefox has a new Isolated / contained tabs version out now - add foxyproxy add on & set to Socks 4/5 - I'm not sure which programs to Suggest on other Operating Systems Apart from Tails <-- Which is safer than Windows anyway
also, I recommend using Lynux ,Ubuntu (anything but Windoze or Apple)
for Whistleblowing along with using PGP encryption for your secure emails
'Mailvelope' is a great (& reasonably simple to use - even 4 a newbie)
which can/will work seamlessly with GMail (that is what it was designed for as it will auto encrypt/decrypt locally (on your computer) as you open it to read - then again for more advanced users a more secure method would be like using Proton mail or disposable email addresses too
Anyway, If you just want to buy Weed , Shrooms or use basic opsec
